I'm Rebecca Moore, founder of Moore Aesthetics and a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of clinical experience within the NHS. My career has spanned acute care, specialist nursing, and advanced clinical practice. This depth of medical knowledge and patient care expertise simply cannot be replicated without that background.
After years at the highest levels of healthcare, I trained in aesthetic medicine. I wanted to bring genuine clinical rigour to an industry that doesn't always have it. How many sessions will I need?
This varies depending on the treatment and your individual skin goals. During your consultation, Rebecca will recommend a personalised plan. She’ll advise on how many sessions will get you the best results.
What is the difference between Skin Boosters and Polynucleotides?
Skin boosters (such as Profhilo) use hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump the skin. Polynucleotides work differently — they are biocompatible DNA fragments that stimulate your skin's own cellular regeneration and collagen production from within. Both are excellent treatments that work well together.
How long do results last?
Results vary by treatment and individual. Skin booster results typically last 6–9 months, although this depends on factors including the treatment plan, skin condition and lifestyle. Rebecca will explain the expected longevity and maintenance plan for other treatments during consultation.
Is there any downtime after treatment?
Most of our treatments involve minimal downtime. You may experience mild redness or slight swelling at the injection site, which typically resolves within a few hours to a couple of days. We'll provide you with full aftercare guidance at every appointment.
